The Community feature on Symba is designed to foster connectivity and collaboration within your organization. Whether you're looking to find colleagues with specific skills, interests, or you want to message someone directly, this guide will help you utilize the full capabilities of the Community feature.
Why Use the Community Feature? š¤
Networking: Easily find and connect with other members of your organization to build professional relationships.
Collaboration: Identify individuals with specific skills or interests that align with project needs.
Communication: Directly message colleagues to discuss projects, ideas, or organizational events.
Search š
Quickly locate and connect with other users based on a variety of criteria.
Access Search - Find the search feature at the top right of the Community page.
Enter Search Criteria -You can search by name, title, school, interests, and skills.
Use Filters - Narrow your search further by department or profile type (e.g., admin, manager, participants, alumni, pre-participants).
Message Me š¬
Purpose: Communicate directly with users via integrated messaging platforms.
Select User - From the search results, click on the user you wish to contact.
Send Message -Use the "Message Me" feature to start a conversation via email or Slack. Ensure your Slack is integrated if you choose to use it for messaging.

Access Profiles - Click on any userās name in the Community section.
